What information or data do we collect?

The Personal Data that You freely and voluntarily provide to the Controller through the website www.animavillage.com, through Concierge services, and/or by telephone through the Customer Service Center, may include, among others, the following: name, address, date of birth, gender, email address, telephone numbers, marital status, and membership numbers of programs operated by third parties associated with our loyalty program.

What is this information used for?

The Personal Data collected is used solely for the following purposes:
(i) identification and verification of the data subject,
(ii) contact purposes,
(iii) registration to receive our electronic newsletters,
(iv) sending promotions related to our services and the products or services of our tenants and partner companies,
(v) statistical and internal analysis purposes, and
(vi) offering participation in events and promotions organized by the Controller, as well as the identification, publication, and delivery of prizes to winners.

With whom do we share your information and under what terms?

Your Personal Data may be transferred and processed, without commercial purposes, within and outside the country, by parties other than the Controller. In this regard, your information may be shared with third parties that provide services related to data handling and administration.

Under no circumstances will we commercialize, sell, or rent your personal information to a third party without your prior consent.

If you do not express your opposition to the transfer of your Personal Data, it will be understood that you have granted your consent for such transfer.

What security and control measures do we use to protect your personal data?

The Controller has implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Data, and we likewise require compliance with such measures from the service providers we engage, including services provided by subsidiaries or affiliates of the Controller.

How can You exercise your Rights of Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition (“ARCO Rights”)?

In accordance with Article 27 of the Law, You have the right to request from the Controller, at any time, access to your Personal Data, rectification thereof if inaccurate or incomplete, cancellation of the use of your data when you believe it is being used for purposes not consented to, or opposition to the processing of your data in order to protect your personal privacy sphere.

The mechanisms implemented for the exercise of your ARCO Rights are through the submission of the corresponding request, for which we provide the following channel:

ELECTRONIC PROCESS

1. Send an email to avisodatosanima@sma.com.mx and/or contact@animavillage.com.
2. Include in the body of the email the Personal Data you request to rectify, cancel, or oppose. In the subject line of the email, you must include the following legend: “Personal Data ARCO Request.”
3. The responsible department will make the pertinent modifications in the system, and within 3 (three) business days such changes will be reflected in the system.
4. You will receive a confirmation message indicating that the requested modification has been carried out, sent to the email account from which the request was made.

USE OF COOKIES AND WEB BEACONS

Cookies are text files automatically downloaded and stored on the user’s computer hard drive when browsing a specific Internet page, allowing the Internet server to remember certain Personal Data about the user, including preferences for viewing pages on that server, username, and password.
